Have any form of original song idea - riff, lyrics, vocal line, verse, chorus, fully written song or even just a selection of artists you want to work together

Choose some related artists and songs - select a few artists and songs that are similar to your vision

Choose the length of your song - give us a rough idea of how long you want your song to be (longer/more complex songs take more work and time to create)

Pick a genre - Rock, Pop, Funk/Soul, Bluegrass, Progressive Rock, Jamtronica, Reggae, Country/Folk/Acoustic, Blues, Jazz Fusion, Latin/Afrobeat/Global, Metal, Film/TV/Orchestral Composition, A capella, Kids, Multi-genre or Other

Request Song Forge artists for recording or co-writing - all artists are subject to availability - we will hand pick the most appropriate studio artists for your song if you do not specify

List of all the instruments you want on your song - be as specific as possible if you know you want or leave it up to us to arrange the instruments - anything can be requested even if its not on our instrument list (examples: electric guitar, drums, electric bass, piano, percussion, organ, mandolin, saxophone, banjo, male singer, trombone, female singer, full orchestra etc.)

Provide any original lyrics or lyric ideas - all lyrics submitted to us MUST be original and written by you

Select all the types of services you will need - Recording/Session Work, Co-Writing/Songwriting, Mixing, Mastering, Light Design, Live Show/Private Event, Music Industry Consulting (live performance, technical questions, songwriting, stage production etc)

Estimate your budget - we will do our best to work within your budget or offer some recommendations
Once we receive your song info through our short form, our team will craft an individualized plan for your vision! We may reach out for more information or send you a link to upload audio files before sending you a personalized quote. Audio files submitted should be played to a metronome/BPM or be open to change if needed. The amount of writing needed, length of song, complexity of genre, number of instruments and types of artist requests are typically the biggest cost factors and variables in your custom quote. The Song Forge will start building your song once we have all the info and the quote payment is received. You will get updates on the song and the final files sent to you via email.
All original song ideas and lyrics submitted to us MUST be original and written by you! By moving forward with us, you are agreeing that none of the song ideas or lyrics will be an infringement of copyrights of any 3rd party musician. If you are doing a cover song, you are agreeing that any licenses, copyrights or other necessary items for distribution are obtained before coming to The Song Forge for recording.
